Dear, Gift of Parenthood

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Ambrosia Cruz, and I am reaching out to share a deeply personal aspect of my life in the hopes of finding support.

My husband and I met, fell in love, and were married within a year. Shortly before our wedding, we were overjoyed to discover that we were expecting a child. However, this happiness turned to sorrow when, at our 9-week appointment, we learned that the fetus had stopped growing at 6 weeks. The loss was devastating, both emotionally and physically.

Tragically, nine months later, I experienced another miscarriage just two days after discovering I was pregnant again. It was during this time that I learned of a fibroid in my uterus, which required surgical removal. Despite these challenges, nearly two years have passed, and we continue to strive towards our dream of conceiving. I have begun treatments with Clomid, yet each month brings with it renewed emotional strain.

Navigating fertility issues has been a journey fraught with emotional and physical hurdles. The financial burden of fertility treatments adds an additional layer of stress to an already challenging situation. As I grow older, the urgency to start a family becomes more pronounced, knowing that age can affect fertility significantly.
